Nothing runs before you agree

On your first visit a small banner asks whether we may measure how the site is used. Until you tap Accept, no analytics tool loads and nothing is sent to Google, Microsoft or Meta. If you tap Decline, it stays that way.

What we use

• Google Analytics 4 counts visits and pages: which page was opened, which site you came from, the type of device and an approximate country.
• Microsoft Clarity shows how pages are used: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, so we can see where people get stuck.
• Meta's pixel (Facebook and Instagram) counts page visits, so we know which of our ads work. When someone who agreed signs up or buys, our server tells Meta: the email and account ID in a hashed form that cannot be read back, the purchase amount, the IP address and the browser type.

What they never get

• Your name or password. Google and Microsoft never get your email or account ID, and Meta gets them only hashed.
• What you write to the agent, your project and video titles, your projects and your credit balance. All of this is hidden in the recording.
• Codes and IDs from the address. A project page is sent as /p/:id, without its ID or any other parameter.
• Anything for ads on Google: ad personalisation and Google signals are off.

Pages that are never measured

Signing in through APIhub, the password reset link, buying credits, and any link that carries a code. On these pages the tools never load.

Cookies

Your answer is kept in a cookie named vidoo_consent for 12 months. If you agree, Google Analytics adds its _ga cookies and Clarity adds _clck and _clsk. Your answer about ads is also kept in vidoo_ads, and if you agree, Meta's pixel adds _fbp (and _fbc when you came from an ad). Your sign-in and your language have cookies of their own, which the site needs to work. A partner's link adds vidoo_ref (which partner sent you, read once when you sign up) and vidoo_vid (an anonymous number, so a visit is counted once).

Changing your mind

Tap Cookie settings, here or in the account menu, and choose again. Declining stops all the tools and deletes their cookies on this site. You can also clear the site's cookies in your browser.
